Rhett Hatfield – Somatic Healing Pioneer & Wellness Visionary
Rhett has spent more than four decades exploring the art of healing and self-discovery through the body. Beginning his path in the late 1960s as a devoted student of His Holiness Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda Saraswati at the Integral Yoga Center in Miami, Rhett absorbed a classical yoga, meditation, and conscious service lineage that shaped his lifelong dedication to the unity of mind, body, and spirit.
Long before somatic therapy entered mainstream awareness, Rhett was investigating the body's emotional intelligence. Over thirty years ago, he developed Cell Release Bodywork, a groundbreaking method that identifies somatic “access points” where stress and memory are held and gently facilitates emotional regulation and integration. His work established him as a true pioneer, recognizing that the body carries our unspoken stories and that healing happens when those stories are met with presence, safety, and skill.
In recent years, Rhett has woven modern neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory into his practice, teaching that transformational bodywork requires both attuned touch and nervous system regulation. His approach blends spiritual depth with scientific clarity, offered with the steady presence of a trusted guide—warm, intuitive, and deeply attuned to the body’s inner language.
